About Your Host

Chikira Bennett is a writer and former development professional with a passion and focus on world building and character. Prior to her current position as a Writers Assistant on a Sony Pictures Television show, the studio behind network cable hits BREAKING BAD (AMC), THE GOOD DOCTOR and FOR LIFE (ABC), as well as the highly anticipated upcoming horror saga, THEM (Amazon), Chikira worked at the studio helping manage and streamlines business and creative affairs for top level executives on new development, discovered content for their slates and identified new initiatives for infrastructural change in studio hiring and retention practices. Originally from Southern Maryland outside of the District of Columbia, Chikira received her Bachelor's degree from Temple University and began her career working at Creative Artists Agency in the TV Literary department. Following the agency, Chikira landed at Morgan Freeman's production company, Revelations Entertainment, working with a small development team on revamping the TV slate. While there, she identified multiple projects for development and contributed in developing a limited series about the life and legacy of Muhammad Ali.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Your material/contact submission is due as soon as you are ready, but no later than 2 hours prior to the start of the session.
  • You will receive this exec's written feedback on your pitch via email within 5 business days following the session unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the session. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.
