About Your Host

Christian Wolf is a development assistant at Treehouse Pictures, which aims to produce content that elevates the art form and yet also have commercial appeal. He started in Hollywood interning for Atlas Entertainment/Mosaic and then worked in Comedy Development at ABC Network. He graduated from the University of Texas in 2013.

Founded in 2011 and headed by president Justin Nappi, Treehouse Pictures is a leading independent film finance and production company that focuses on working with dynamic filmmakers who possess a strong vision, while leveraging its industry relationships to partner, package and create compelling films for the global marketplace.

The first film released under the Treehouse banner was 2012’s critically acclaimed ARBITRAGE written and directed by Nicholas Jarecki and starring Richard Gere. This was followed by AT ANY PRICE, written and directed by Ramin Bahrani, whom Roger Ebert called “the best new American director of recent years” starring Zac Efron and Dennis Quaid. ALL IS LOST, from JC Chandor (Margin Call) and starring Robert Redford, premiered in the 2013 Official Selection at the Cannes Film Festival and garnered Robert Redford a Golden Globe Nomination. ADULT WORLD, starring John Cusack and Emma Roberts, premiered at 2013’s Tribeca Film Festival and was acquired for US release by IFC. THAT AWKWARD MOMENT, written and directed by Tom Gormican and starring Zac Efron, Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan was released by Focus Features in 2014. SAND CASTLE directed by Fernando Coimbra, and starring Nicholas Hoult and featuring Henry Cavill, premiered on Netflix in 2017. Then in 2018, Treehouse released the critically acclaimed romantic comedy SET IT UP through Netflix starring Zoey Deutch, Glen Powell, Taye Diggs, and Lucy Liu. 

HOW IT WORKS

  • Immediately after registering, you will receive an Order Confirmation email that serves as the receipt for your registration. In the Order Summary section of this email you will find a link reading "CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS" that will take you to instructions on how to submit your contact info or written pitch via the Material Submission Form.
  • Your material/contact submission is due as soon as you are ready, but no later than 2 hours prior to the start of the session.
  • You will receive this exec's written feedback on your pitch via email within 5 business days following the session unless otherwise notified.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel for a full refund up to 72 hrs. prior to the start of the session. Cancellations requested after this deadline will be ineligible for refunds.
