Jeff Diamond is a Literary Manager at Octagon in the Entertainment Division where he created and leads their scripted television and film department. While Octagon is best known for representing some of the biggest names in sports, including Steph Curry and Michael Phelps, Jeff’s division focuses on growing a roster of content creators in the entertainment space, and he specifically represents writers and directors. Jeff was a Division 1 college baseball player at The University of Michigan. He then moved to Los Angeles where he began his career in entertainment at WME before moving to MGM where he worked in feature development and production. After two years at the studio, Jeff transitioned over to Focus Features where he continued to work in development, as well as in acquisitions. In 2017, Jeff was approached by Octagon to build and lead a scripted TV and feature film branch of the growing Entertainment group within the company. Jeff specializes in shepherding emerging writers and directors, and he has already put together a robust development slate with over 40 television shows and films in development active pre-production.
