Pitch Tips

The overall concept is best to start with, then a bit about the central characters.

About Your Host

Rodney Altman graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a focus on writing and production for film and television. For the last decade he has lived in Los Angeles and worked at various production companies as a development executive, helping to find new talent and guide the creative process on various projects. He has been involved in the development of films such as THE MULE, ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD, and SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK. On the TV side he has helped develop series such as THE EXPANSE, BEYOND, and the upcoming Netflix series THE WITCHER. Coming from a production background, he understands the divide between the creative and business sides of the industry and enjoys helping up-and-coming writers learn how to best navigate those waters to get noticed in an ever-changing marketplace.
