About Your Host

Seana Iwanyk is a development executive with a decade of experience in the film and television industry. After majoring in Psychology at UC Berkeley, Seana began at CAA working in the Motion Picture Literary department for a partner who specialized in A-list directors. She then went to TriStar Productions to help re-launch the brand, and was present for the development of films with Robert Zemeckis, Ang Lee, and Edgar Wright. She then transitioned over to Columbia to help develop films like MEN IN BLACK INTERNATIONAL, THE GIRL IN THE SPIDER’S WEB, and ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD.

Seana is now the Director of Development at Grey Matter Productions, an independent production company. The first film the company released was LIGHTS OUT in 2016, an original horror film based on a short and David Sandberg's debut feature. Seana has been developing projects in both film and TV with companies like Netflix, Columbia, Paramount, and Amazon. The next film to be released will be THE LAUNDROMAT with Netflix, a Steven Soderbergh film based on the Panama Papers scandal, and starring Meryl Streep, Gary Oldman, and Antonio Banderas. Grey Matter also recently partnered with Oscar-nominated screenwriter Eric Heisserer to start a sister production company called Ideogram, which just signed a first-look deal with Paramount.
