In today’s market, it isn’t enough to simply come up with a really great concept for a story - it isn’t even enough to finish writing it! To succeed in this business, writers must understand current trends and how to appeal to the market, while still composing a screenplay that truly resonates with the reader.
Producer Christian Taylor is here to deconstruct why all of this is important and how to give yourself a leg up when presenting your work to potential buyers. Christian will talk not only about current trends in the marketplace but also the importance of understanding your target audience. He will also cover the value of existing IP vs. your own original script and give a list of do’s and don’t’s - plus Live Q&A!
